Founded as the leather factory G. Metzger & Sohn in Pinneberg.

1919

Acquisition of the company C. Otto Gehrckens, continued under this name.

1955

Switch from leather to rubber processing — V-belts and elastomer seals.

1995

Certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.

1998

Certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001.

2002

Move into the new logistics centre with state-of-the-art warehouse technology.

2009

Introduction of express manufacturing and opening of the O-Ring Academy.

2017

Anniversary: 150 years of COG.

2018

Completion of the technical centre.

2020

Recognition of our climate protection commitment with the PRIMAKLIMA seal.
